Where is the Netscape Navigator of today?

It's not Chrome. Why doesn't browsers understand that an H tag is something I want to scroll down to, like someone placed a named anchor there, so that I can type this into the location bar: "https://mysite/mypage#important" without having to dilute my markup like this:

<a name="important" id="important"></a> <h2>Important</h2>

Maybe that shit wasn't important when I wrote it.

This is just simple REST to me. If no such tag, don't do scroll: "https://mysite/mypage#important"
