Ask HN: How many responses should I wait for when testing my ideas? I recently created a simple Google Form to test a side project idea I had and shared it on Twitter and a couple of related subreddits and forums. I've not had a huge response (5 respondents so far), but their feedback has been along similar lines - so much so that a clear pattern is emerging. Part of me is itching to get on and build the prototype, but the [sensible] part of me knows 5 people is not really much to go on. Should I wait for more respondents and push the form a bit harder? How many is enough? |
