Ask HN: Anyone built an MVP coding on weeknights and weekends? Of course I know that successful startups cannot be built when one is not focused full time. A little bit of context: So I work full-time 8 hours as a programmer but I've been working on this side project on week nights after work & on the weekend. This has really impacted my social life & drive. I try to keep motivated each day to work on it. So I want to know if people have built MVP's this way & maybe then quit their full time job to focus on the product. I want to know if you have done this & your experience. I'm really passionate about this product, I have avoided it for 2 years, and I have a long list of why it won't work but it keeps hitting me everytime I just can't hold it any longer. I see the need & I wonder why people haven't filled it yet. So that's the drive I have. You comments are highly appreciated. |
