Ask HN: How to get that desire/motivation/ambition back as an Engineer This year has been awesome so far. I've done some great things in the DevOps arena for the company I work for. DCOS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Packer, AWS, GCE, Azure, DO, CI/CD etc... On a personal note, I have three side projects going that are about half way done. I seem to have lost the burning desire to finish my personal projects and can't find anything to do at work in the way of advancing the company or innovating. How do I get that desire back? How can I work up the motivation to succeed? How do I get that burning desire to do great things? Am I alone with this problem? Any other software developers or engineers have this problem? |
