Why is equifax still a company? I've been thinking about this a lot lately. How is it that CA grabs a bunch of facebook data and now we are a little bit angry...not really moving the needle on data privacy, but our society is a little upset.
Yet, equifax gets boosted by someone with the most absurdly gross negligence around data security that I have heard of in a long time, and there is barely a peep. It seems to me that this company should be liquidated. How is this remotely possible? There is something about equifax that I'm not understanding, or is it that we are just so desensitized to poor data management that we don't care as a society anymore? |
