Website Login: Legal Advice I have an app that I want to accept as an input user credentials to a third party site and then automatically fill out and submit a form via a JSON request for them- a task that would normally have to be done manually . I’ve sought out an API from the third party site but they would not provide me with one. I’ve also read the Terms of Use provided by the site and I’m unable to find anything in the current revision that explicitly prohibits me so long as I’m respectful of their bandwidth/infrastructure. Assuming that I follow the proper protocols in securing the user’s permission to login on their behalf and in preserving the user’s privacy and security, would my approach present any issues legally speaking? My goal is to provide maximal convenience and phenomenal user experience and I’d like to alleviate this unnecessary date entry burden for them... |
