The title is a bit misleading. I think most people would interpret it as "get a month-long friendship for $25" (some sort of AwesomeReminder Gold). But, according to the article, only membership for the site is $25/month. "Friends" that you rent charge on top of that, for each meeting.

It's sad that our society needs such as service, but they undoubtedly fill a need. It's getting harder and harder to meet new friends in real life.
