I've been running into issues regarding operating Celery, for e.g. when tasks are getting longer and longer and piling up in the queue and then ultimately failing due to some i/o or cpu bottleneck and/or timing out. I use flower to check every now and then but something that monitors time series data and able to send alerts would be nice. If there's no such tool then it might worth putting together something simple maybe on top of flower ofr this purpose?
