AORUS X399 XTREME MOTHERBOARD with LINUX (GUIDANCE NEEDED) I've just recently finished my custom pc build with two GEFORCE RTX 2080 TI's that are plugged into my X399 XTREME MOTHERBOARD. I'm running the threadripper AMD 16 core processor. I'm installing CentOS Linux and I need a way to manually control the built-in left/right FANS on the GEFORCE RTX 2080 TI cards. I know I'm fully capable of running Linux I'm just a bit nervous because I'm using this high end motherboard. As a result I will loose the ability to run the windows software that allows me to control those GPU fans. Can someone provide me with some useful guidance on how I can achieve this control? Does the motherboard manufacture provide a software support package I could development my own driver? Is there a open source GPU fan controller out there for CentOS that would give me this control? |
