UK, Commission Only Google Shopping Ads Shopify App. Interesting So, i've been running some ecommerce experiments, thanks to these guys - Redbrain - www.redbrain.com, I was able to hit £5k in my first month, dropshipping health related products, Ave. Order Value - £10-£15, small margin stuff. Couldn't get the shop to really make money, but I got the turnover so it was nice hearing the little Shopify "kerching" 10 times a day or so..a first for me....after years of toil.. haha Sadly, I was down at the end of the month, but Redbrain only took 5% and I was able to get launched on Google PLA's for Zero. Great news is they're due to launch a Shopify App in a few weeks, enabling merchants to plug directly into their (UK Only) Comparison engine (they're a premium CSS partner, so get 20% off ad costs, thanks to the EU ruling. I'm running some more tests on higher ticket stuff, that's where the margins are better. Other risks too for sure, though. Oh yes, they're launching on Facebook so the pixel gets the retargeting, also commission based I understand. Controversial. Anyway, thought i'd share for anyone struggling to get up and running with FK all cash. Pretty sure they do business with USA firms, pretty easy to work with most dropshippers in the UK, maybe easier then US dropshippers. This could give you some ideas..good luck! https://www.google.com/basepages/producttype/taxonomy-with-ids.en-US.txt |
