Current outsourcing models are a decade old and do not meet current agile needs for product engineering. Hence, this is broken for Products that are iterative in nature (Platforms such as Toptal, Upwork, Freelancer, Gigster are only suitable for projects!) Hence the need to rethink outsourcing models for products; we believe the solution should have the following composition:

1. Workflow systems for Product Roadmapping, Planning, Design, Engineering, and Management. 2. Iterative Engineering Approach. 3. Iteration should define the basic execution cycle and unit of execution. 4. Sprints should define the basic unit of work! 5. Saas Model (customers should be able to subscribe to iterations and pay for sprints delivered).
