Yesterday, the company of Evil removed the popular email client K-9 from Play Store with zero notice. K-9 is open source mail client allowing OpenPGP encryption.

Official reason: "the description of the app included alternate spellings of the app name we'd included to work around how bad Play's search is."

After the community was dissatisfied. Google Play Developer Support tell that they accepted the resubmitted K-9. Now, K-9 Mail is available again on Google Play.

Let me remind that earlier Google announced that they were going to taking down all/most Fediverse apps from the Play store like Mastadon, Diasoira, GNU social:
