Considering how Signal is open source and makes zero effort at hiding what algorithms they use, and that sqlcipher is a standard product, all of this does not inspire confidence in the technical abilities of Cellebrite - or, their marketing. Which is kind of nice I guess.

Of course they make it sound like they did something amazing there, and somehow "broke" Signal.
