The Google Outage thread is probably overwhelming HN. If you log out, HN can serve your request from cache and is much better.

If you're just reading for the next few hrs, just Log out.

(Not an insider, just repeating what's happened last time there was a big article here)

I'd assume HN is having a lot of visitors right now, the Google outage post got more than 1k5 upvotes in less than an hour.
