I seem to speak of Tether in your article as if they were a legitimate operation.

Yet, they have time and again failed to give accredited proof of reserves.

Have you considered the scenario where they are found to be a scam?

What will happen then?

I have been a huge Tether skeptic for years. There is almost no chance they are a legitimate operation in my opinion. When they are shutdown BTC/USD will drop, BTC/USDT will go up and USDT/USD will drop.
