While Shopify fills a credible gap for small businesses, will brands use Shopify and similar platforms over listing on Amazon?

With a sea of fakes on Amazon, how many repeat sales will follow after someone buys fake Tide detergent? It is easy to bulk buy cheap detergent by the ton,, Buy some flat board, get it printed as Tide - exact label copy, then sell on Amazon or at weekend fleamarkets. A steadily profitable business that is so disseminated that it is hard to stamp out. Regular supermarkets are a choke point, any fakes found = siezed - so they are very rare there. Tide can defeat with lowering the prices to make it nor worth while. There are many fake Apple items on aliexpress - recourse from China = a good joke.
