Fry : Well sure, but not in our dreams. Only on TV and radio, and in magazines, and movies, and at ball games... and on buses and milk cartons and t-shirts, and bananas and written on the sky. But not in dreams, no siree.

Futurama was so ahead of time it's scary.

Although it was inevitable, I’m not looking forward at all to a future where VR and AR will have ads.

Its not good and one imagines the test with restricted data is something only until they unlock it all. And these restrictions are still very broad -things like Eye tracking still seem likely to be tracked, and in my opinion that might be the most dystopian option of the bunch. Using eye tracking to serve product placement and ads in perfect spots...

Facebook is about the worst company to have a leadership position in VR.
