This is RabbitSign, an unlimited free e-signing service.
Founded last year, RabbitSign was created out of frustration that no existing e-signing services provided a generous free tier during the pandemic.
For the past few months, RabbitSign has been in private beta for friends and family, although organic users from around the world somehow made their way to the website, including individuals, landlords, lawyers, nonprofits, small businesses, and even some of the world’s most valuable startups.
Today, RabbitSign is launching publicly. Here are some feature highlights:
Unlimited Free Usage: You can send and sign as many documents as you want, and create as many reusable templates as you want, all for free. For this same level of template usage with an e-signing service like HelloSign, you would need to call their sales rep.
Reusable Templates: For documents that you send for signatures often, you can make a template with the signature, initial, date, etc. fields already positioned. Templates can also be shared with links, which can be put on websites or in emails. The posted link in the title is an example of a template link. Feel free to try it out if you haven’t already.
Strong Privacy Protection: All documents are purged from the server 60 days after they are uploaded.
Backed by Blockchain: Once a document is signed, its hash is placed on a blockchain as the proof-of-existence.
In case you’re curious how RabbitSign is sustainable as a free service, it leverages AWS Serverless technology. It costs less than $1 to process 1000 document signings.
If you need e-signing and are tired of paying DocuSign or HelloSign, please try out RabbitSign. I’d be happy to hear any thoughts or feedback!
