Hello Everyone , I am self taught programmer with a medical degree . I have been tinkering with computers since 2016 but somehow I haven’t made any progress in terms of turning it into sustainable career .

I learnt python at first and then JavaScript , dabbled with competitive programming and web dev but somehow I never went deep into any of that . All this while I couldn’t secure a job with this skills , I’ve seen people way less skilled than me go on to get good remote jobs and the rest . Fast forward to 2019 I decided to dive into web application security and do bug bounties . While I have gotten a few bounties , my bug bounty career is also shit and nothing worth celebrating at all .

This year I decided to focus primarily on Go programming language while doing bug bounties on the side . I’m currently going through “the ray tracer challenge “ with go .

Why have my career stagnated this bad , how come from 2016 till now I haven’t be able to get a full time job . I should admit that I rarely applied for job due to massive imposter syndrome . What do I do to change my situation , other than my LinkedIn and GitHub I don’t even think i have a good resume . Thanks in advance .
