It might cut down on harrassment, but outside of bigger accounts "ratio-ing" each other on twitter it's just going to mean that accounts will consolidate further into their ideology.

Given the left wing bias as far as sheer volume on Twitter goes, depending on how "viral" that aspect is, we could see it also becoming an even more hostile place for anything outside of that viewpoint.
