The trial of Elizabeth Holmes is because she misled investors by doing stuff such as sticking Pfizer logos on reports her own staff generated and overtly lying about the kits being used in the military. She then brings up the "scandals" such as Facebook letting anti-vax hysteria spread. It seems like quite the leap to say that if Facebook was run by a woman the government would be charging a CEO over fake news.
On top of this the article doesn't mention that Sonny Balwani (a man) is facing the same charges as Holmes.
There's lots of sexism still but I find it hard to believe that criminal sentencing is the correct hill to die on given the data which consistency suggests men receive 50% longer criminal sentences for the same crimes.
