10 years ago, I was able to build traffic to a blog via guest posting and just posting regularly(a hobby blog).

Today, I don't think that would work as well.

My main motivation is that I want to get better at attracting the right kind of sustainable attention for my side projects. I've no problem posting on Reddit or Hacker News but I think that traffic disappears as fast as it arrives.
