I wish I could cite this post to argue the same point, because a lot depends on it in my world, but the post doesn't include data and evidence to support the points being made. These kinds of posts need more substance and less style. There's something here, but it needs a better delivery. Citing Google and Facebook doesn't cut it.

I don't care if the data you have to use goes back to 1985. If it shows examples of these techniques in action, it would create more value than something that is purely anecdotal, and it would help a lot more people.
