There is no way to know. It's like getting bit by a vampire and you are forever changed in both good and bad ways. You can never go back to being child-free (non-vampire) no matter what option you take. But how can you possibly know ahead of time if you'll like being a vampire?

I like how you put that.

Having children changed my life for the better and made it incredibly hard too.

I have many regrets on how I parented them in the past, but certainly no regrets about having children, except that I did not have more.

hehe yup. I had my first in 2010 and panicked. Then because I was second born myself I had to agree to second kid in 2013. But then I really wanted to out-do my own parents who only had two so we had another in 2016. My wife came from a family of three kids so in 2019 we had a forth. But that's it. No more!
