Ask HN: What Happened to the Red Language

I mean the Red language that was based on and sort of successor to Rebol. It used to be mentioned here on HN. But for a while I have not seen it talked about much here.

They got distracted by involving themselves with a crypto scam and their progress halted.

Exactly what I thought at the time, I mean, that it was not a good direction to go in, and was depressed about that, due to having played around some with Rebol before, but not knowing much about crypto, I kept mum, except for possibly commenting once about it here on HN or maybe on Twitter :(

FWIW, here below are some of my past comments about Red on HN, including the one about crypto, written using my main HN id, this one, vram22. The langfan id I did the OP under is just a new one I made up to comment from another phone.

Sorry to see it stale... red-lang devs, if you're reading this, please post an update on v1.0 release, it's been almost a year...
