There's no shortage of Markdown editors out there, but as a tech blogger, I used to write in VS code. It works well but lacks many things that I would have preferred! With this in mind, I started working on a Markdown editor for tech writers. It has many useful features that have become part of my workflow. You can just head over to the app if you want to check it out.

Loved the design of the front page! I wanted to try it out, but it seems to be missing a privacy policy--or maybe I just didn't find it?

Hi! Thanks for the feedback. A privacy page doesn't exist yet but I will definitely add it asap.

MD Editor doesn't collect any data whatsoever. Also, it lets you use your own OpenAI key for AI features and key is never stored on our servers. It currently stores most of the data including articles, settings etc. in browser's storage.

The only data that is stored on the cloud is the article's media ie. images and audio. The media is publicly accessible if anyone has a link to it.

Is it like JasperAI but dedicated to Technical Writers? What about team collaboration around MD editing?

Jasper AI is highly focussed on its AI content generation/editing but MD Editor treats its more like an assistant so that the focus stays on the author's POV!

Also, MD editor, offers a bunch of little tools to make a tech writer's workflow easier. These tools are related to formatting, code snippets, images, audio, sanity checks, import/export, publishing, etc.

Team collaboration is not currently available but its definitely on the roadmap.
