Likewise in southern Finland. Usually there's a week or two of really oppressive heat, but not this year. Just 20C-ish (70F-ish) and light cloud cover, keeping' it not beach weather but certainly perfect for doing stuff outdoors. Occasional surprise afternoon rain to keep the plants happy.

OTOH it's been a bad-ish year for berries and tomatoes, and AFAIK nobody can quite figure out why.

Don't live in SF anymore but I remember September is when the heatwaves tend to hit SF.

Seattle has been having quite a nice summer as well
