I don’t think this article is accurate in that about 99.9% of movies don’t spend any time on who cleans the toilets (Jupiter Ascending is that0.1%).

That doesn’t mean they are propaganda, it just means they are presenting what the author thinks is most interesting.

I mean Star Wars can be seen as Cold War propaganda, but not because they never describe who irons the storm trooper uniforms. Or who manufactures the tooth paste.
