The societal assumptions bias against introverts in the article is pretty evident.
We aren’t miserable. Lots of us are quite happy alone. My own company is pretty nice, or the company of a book.
We didn’t feel closely connected to many of the people we were previously spending time with. It is just a lot more socially acceptable (and many are more comfortable) declining.
Hell no! Entering my 59th year and I am enjoying my introversion even more; I am more accepting of my self now than ever before. I am exploring the definition of introversion comfortably, without feeling bound to that definition. I am having way more fun than earlier in my life.
2018 was like this?! I feel so out of touch lol.
