The Italian armed forces parading in front of the presidential residency in Rome sometimes march to Circus tunes familiar to anyone who watches cartoons. Because everything musical has a long history, and doesn't always reflect it's origins well in a modern context (many semi-military tunes wound up in the circus. The clowns march for instance, is "Entrance of the Gladiators" from a Czech composer in the 19th century.)
The one I saw, they did the guard handover ceremony to "Sobre Las Olas" by Juventino Rosas also from the late 19th century, which is "the flying trapeze" waltz.
Don't forget the Monty Python theme is a Souza march: Liberty Bell.
