Tbh I love hacker news, but I just wanted to freshen up the design.

Build on top of the hacker news api.

It's good to have options. This is just my opinion, but I'd recommend moving the next/previous page links to the bottom. With the current design once I'm done scrolling through the links I have to reverse scroll back to the top to navigate which feels frustrating.

The margins and paddings remove a lot of the screen density you get with the real Hacker News. Even on my phone, I personally prefer more density and less space.
