How other people organize their personal lives doesn't bother me at all. They're not organizing my life, after all.
Personally, I would never do this for a bunch of reasons -- starting with that the idea of treating my private as if it were my professional life is blurring those two things too much for me to tolerate. If I were dating someone and discovered they did this sort of thing, I'd certainly stop dating them on the basis that it's a clear and obvious indication that we aren't compatible.
But this sort of thing couldn't be more of a "you do you" situation. There is no right or wrong here. Everyone should run their lives in a manner they deem best.
