I didn't notice any data backing up one of the specific post-ZIRP claims made here - that everything is aligning along Typescript and Python lines. Similarly I don't see how using more expensive platforms on top of AWS/GCP is something that correlates with "belt tightening" - if anything, you'd see people just going back to managing a handful of raw VMs or managing their own data centers.

What are they talking about here? I feel like UI is significantly worse post-ZIRP. Look at what a mess Twitter/X has turned into. I also see a lot more UI bugs on various IOS apps (Reddit being the major one).
