Reading through the article and even reading through the other discussion points this seems like a bunch of double speak out of Shopify. They say they aren't using ideology to limit products but later they are saying they are using ideology to limit products but they come up with the excuse that they don't believe this is a product that is going to be delivered in good faith. Granted there is some chatter from Kanye that he would never actually sell a product like this but tweets don't actually show a bad faith product on Shopify.

It would have been trivial for Shopify to contact the store's managers and ask is this legitimate because we have concerns due to this tweet that this may not actually be a product you're willing to deliver. They could even get this in an email exchange and writing and have something to back up their claim. As it stands it looks like they are taking down things because they are ideologically against it because if you're standing by the general principles of ideology is not your decision-making process and you're leaning more toward the first amendment interpretation then a t-shirt does not cause harm to someone.
