And god does it hurt to read it - one walks away wishing we didn't have names, from a coding standpoint, given the painful variety of names on the planet. I don't suppose there's any open source equiv. of time that one can include to make it all easier (ie, given the old classic of Falsehoods Programmers Believe About Time Zones etc)
