Eggs are a food, we can eat other foods, or pay the price. As far as I know there's no "have to eat eggs" type situation going on.
Meanwhile the feds want to pour tons of money into private egg producers for things that ... the market should be encouraging them to do on their own.
This whole thing seems like the Trump administration handing out corporate welfare and messing with the market.
