Show HN: Somehow people play this 100-char AI battle game all day I built this game a few weeks ago, inspired by how we used to invent characters as kids and argue about who would win. (My wife keeps telling me I work too hard on things that make no money.) For the first few days almost nothing happened, then a small group of players went all-in, spun up a community, and the game started spreading by word of mouth. What's curious is that the most active players are from Korea and Japan. The engine can output in several languages, but people from other regions don’t seem to find it as fun—yet. I'd love to hear your thoughts on why. |
