I built Spooky Planning because most "free" Planning Poker apps hide core features behind paywalls. This one doesn’t.

Free Forever ($0): Unlimited players, voting sessions, and rooms. Permanent room URLs + session history. Custom scales (Fibonacci, T-shirt, powers of two, or your own). Real-time updates, mobile responsive. No ads, no tracking.

Optional Membership ($4.99/month): Everything in Free. Priority support + feature requests. Preview beta features. Download reports. Monthly digest. MCP server

The goal: keep core features free forever, no bait-and-switch. The member tier is for those who want to support development and get a few extras.

Roadmap: timers, per-round notes, integrations (Jira/Linear).

Would you pay $4.99/month for the member perks? Which perks would make it worth supporting? Is “free forever” sustainable enough for you to adopt it?

Tech: React + React Router 7, Tailwind, server-sent events (in-memory pub/sub), SQLite, Bun.

Recent changes: room inactivity timeout, connection-lost overlay, editable/custom scales, lock room, rounds history.

Privacy: no tracking/ads, optional login via magic link. Guest sessions work, data for guests is temporary. Hosted on Hetzner (Finland).
