Has anyone noticed degraded perf of their machines after upgrading to macOS Tahoe w/ Liquid Glass? Scrolling and rendering of everything web is just mediocre. How about your vibes?

Yes it feels awful to me. Seems like every Chromium and Electron app is sluggish and choppy, and as someone who uses Brave, VSCode, and Slack all day I am straight up not having a good time. Hopefully it gets resolved soon. This is on an M1 MBP Pro with 32GB ram.

The first few seconds/minutes I felt the same but it was fine quite fast. I think the typical spotlight reindexing was the culprit.

In my case it's consistently poor web experience. Chrome scrolling and rendering is lagging so hard that it's hard to believe. The same page on Safari works flawlessly.

there are some glitches here and there yes, visual and otherwise, across various parts of the system.

gaming is somewhat impacted too; i noticed strange glyphs playing disco elysium

some memory leaks too apparently but I didn't encounter this first hand.

battery life is impacted but idk by how much or if it's to any significance, time will tell.

Mac version? SSD? Any large update requires a bit of housekeeping (eg Spotlight)
