Ask HN: Is it safe to use TP4056 with protection and 18650 cell with protection? I’m using a TP4056 Type-C board with built-in protection and a 18650 Li-ion cell that also has its own protection circuit. Will having both protections cause any issues, or is this setup perfectly safe (just slightly less efficient)? |
