Ada (ay-dah), Scala (ska-lah)
The word "scale" originates from the Latin scala,

That aside, the fonts looked very fuzzy, until I scaled to 133% in FF. Then they were perfect, crystal clear. Anybody else had that, too?

Seriously, though, what both music and fundamentally sound programming languages have in common is math. Elegantly defined versions of both are beautiful expressions of thought.
