Hey HN — I built Pebbles because my “maintenance system” was basically: forget → stress → finally do thing that is massively overdue → repeat. Between the house, car, kids, and life admin, I couldn’t keep a reliable schedule in my head. So Pebbles is a lightweight app that helps you track recurring maintenance and nudges you before it becomes a drama. What it does: - Create recurring tasks (rego, filters, smoke alarms, dentist, etc.) - See what’s coming up (so you’re not guessing) - Get reminders so the schedule doesn’t rely on “remembering in the moment” It’s early and I’m looking for feedback on: - What feels missing vs overkill - Reminder/notification behaviour (too noisy? not enough?) - Any UX issues that make you bounce If you’re willing to battle test the Android beta (iOS soon), you can sign up here: https://getpebblesapp.com Keen for brutal honesty — especially from anyone who also lives in a constant state of “I’ll definitely remember that later.” |
