Where is book industry heading to, with all this AI? I see everyone writing books. Some are at least evergreen content, but many no. Especially about productivity, AI, tech tools, personal development. Is anyone still spending a dime on those? |

The tech tools books seemed dead before AI. A former co-worker of mine bought a book on Go, because that was what he had done for the last 30 years when looking to learn a language. He quickly found out that the resources online were better and more up to date, leaving his book to collect dust. I think the same would be true for most books on AI, unless it’s foundational text.
