The bug is settling for a form of AI that's not perfectly functional from the beginning, without requiring any contact with the internet starting from day 0.

Today's AI and today's internet are just not yet suitable for each other. Doesn't even look like they are moving in the right direction.

I don't foresee trusting MS Office itself to be exposed to the internet ever again any more.

Especially with Windows 11.

I wish it wasn't so, but I for one certainly would never allow Copilot to exist on an office machine.

Even more of an emphatic no if it was not just an office machine but a business machine.
