Hourly Rates Are Not a Work Measurement Anymore Poking around contract work and it occurred to me that hourly rates are still pre-GenAI. A senior dev/arch with GenAI skills can probably do 20x now. But we’re not going to work for -19x rates. It’s a conundrum. Where do we think salaries and contract rates will go? |
