I really liked Subnautica, but haven't been following the drama of subnautica 2 since the old creators were fired.

_Should_ I give my money to unknown worlds?

They won the process, got re-hired and given full control. Krafton isn't listed anymore as publisher on the steam page.

I believe Krafton still owns Unknown Worlds. On the other hand the whole reason for this situation (beyond ego) is that the contract for Subautica 2 was very favorable to the people at the latter.

The requirements say "OS: Windows 10/11" but it's working great on Fedora 43 + 4080 Super, just launched it from Steam.
