Ask HN: How are you handling status pages for your SaaS? Building out the infrastructure for a new B2B SaaS and need to set up a status page. Obviously, it needs to be completely independent of our main infrastructure so it doesn't go down with it. Curious what everyone is using these days. Are you paying for managed tools like Statuspage or Instatus, self-hosting something like Uptime Kuma on a separate cheap VPS, or just deploying a static HTML page to Cloudflare Pages? Would love to hear what works for you and why, especially regarding cost vs maintenance overhead. |
