Ask HN: Is there a CRM Focused on Founder-Led Sales? I run a B2B startup and handle all of our sales myself.
One thing I’ve noticed is that most CRMs don’t really feel built for founder-led sales. A lot of the way I sell as a founder is pretty different from how a professional sales team might operate. For example, I use iMessage a lot with potential customers. My process is more informal and relationship-driven. I’m often connecting through warm intros, texting, following up casually, jumping between sales, product, hiring, fundraising, and customer work. So I don’t really think in terms of rigid weekly quotas or perfectly structured pipeline stages. I’m wondering if other founders feel this pain too. I’m considering building something that feels more like a CRM for founder-led sales, but I don’t want to reinvent the wheel if something good already exists. What tools are other founders using for this? And does this problem feel real to anyone else? |
