I have been working on a Go ORM and I am trying to understand what experienced Go developers actually want from an ORM.

The main problems I see:

- losing control over generated SQL - difficult complex queries - too much magic

Some questions:

1. Do you prefer ORM, query builder, or database/sql? 2. Which features make you trust an ORM in production? 3. What are the biggest problems with existing Go ORM solutions?

I am collecting feedback before making more design decisions.
