I'm just an average software engineer with no space exp, you seem to be the opposite.
Going back to your comment, so I guess I'm wrong to say there's no solution. But is it feasible today to dissipate energy from cheaper, smaller hypothetically practical data-center satellites in space without being incredibly expensive?
SpaceX puts up 30 starlink satellites in one launch and they can do it over and over, make them cheaply, retire them, control them. I only have theoretical knowledge from reading a few popular mag articles about this, they suggested that the cost (for launch) of having say long radiator spikes to dissipate the energy would be too expensive to put into orbit, assembly might be a problem too.
So are there practical solutions to getting rid of the large amount of heat that a space datacenter would produce? That aren't prohibitively expensive, fragile, etc? I thought it would require inventing new solutions. Love to hear your thoughts.
